I am licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor in Texas and Puerto Rico, a Chemical Dependency Counselor, and a licensed Child Care Administrator.
I am Dr. Miguel A. Soto a passionate and dedicated Clinical Social Worker whose commitment to promoting social justice and providing clinical care to vulnerable populations is unparalleled.
Academic Background:
My journey in social work began with my academic achievements, completing a bachelor's degree in Social Work, alongside a minor in psychology, at the top of my class. I further advanced my education with a Master’s degree in Social Work Direct Care and pursued clinical studies through the Doctoral program at La Universidad Interamericana of Puerto Rico.
Professional Experience:
In 2015, I relocated to Texas, where I played a pivotal role in directing one of the state’s largest programs dedicated to providing high-quality clinical care and housing solutions for immigrant youth.
Cultural Competence:
Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Soto's multilingual skills enhance his ability to deliver culturally competent care.
